The Office of Fair Trading (OFT) can help consumers resolve some disputes about products and services that don’t meet consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law or a consumer warranty the business offered or activities under the industries we regulate.
Before you lodge a formal complaint, have you discussed your issue with the business? If not, learn how to talk to the business.

We can’t help with all types of consumer complaints. Where possible we'll refer you to another organisation that can. You can also access our list of other consumer regulators.
